Like math, say for example you have the theory of Subjective-Value and the Value-work, so depending which one you take as an axiom, you arrive into a specific kind of political system. First part wrong with collectivism is that it comes from a simply wrong economical system. since the value-work theory doesn't align with reality. second part is that they're inherently controlling, you have to force people to do things in collectivist systems, most normally using violence. the A->B part is important, because some people don't follow it, so they just see the end product as the important part, not where it comes from.

So normally collectivism is a mix between people that don't know better (Think that only B is important (example: Getting rid of poverty)), or genuinely bad people that know that the system is incorrect and use it to control people.
