Pixelfed Fan@dansupI spend my days introducing people to Pixelfed, but Pixelfed must avoid the mistake Mastodon made when Bluesky overtook it. The app needs to focus on improvements before Bluesky launches its new app, Flashes, which could easily surpass Pixelfed and make our app forgotten. To stay in the lead, Pixelfed should add features like post sharing, direct messaging (DM) to users, dark mode, account switching, and more.
