Margarita Estévez-Abe@Narako I have seen Americans wearing T-Shirts with strange phrases/words written in characters. But I can’t believe that someone used 冷奴 to mean “cool guy”! Little did they know that those two characters meant “cold tofu” (tasty and nutritious but a cheap not so cool food! ) ??? But I’ve also seen lots of Japanese people wearing T-shirts & jackets with all kinds of bizarre English phrases printed on them. “Lost in translation” cuts both ways!
