My old original Elmer, Chet the original W1NR/sk, got WAA, Worked All Appliances. (Our houses shared a 2-phase pole transformer, so no isolation.) Luckily for my Dad who had Army-related Morse-code PTSD and the rest of us, Chet was an A.M. rag-chewer, not an original-digital dah-di-dah or single-side-duck contester. (As a former Navy radioman, Chet referred to SSB as Air Force modulation.)
