That's at least somewhere closer to the truth but no, it is not a cold virus - is MERS also a cold virus? How about SARS1?? None of the cold viruses have the stability of MERS/SARS1/SARS2 combined with infection-via-ACE2. This makes it different than other coronaviruses in a big way. And honestly the "common cold" virus that *does* use ACE2 should probably be treated more seriously.
