Started out really big in Toronto by a complete dipshit. Many restaurants didn't get paid in the early days for months. Got their act together once the investors fired the founder, but then started enshittifying again a few years later. Lots of extra fees.
Used to be a flat 10% charge to the restaurant, which is worth it for most restaurant managers to bypass the work of processing payments and taking orders.
