That's why I aim for starch free foods. Cats don't eat shit like peas in the wild so why would I feed my cat food that's 20% peas?
Starch free diet is what you actually want.
A cat eating nothing but muscle and organ meat isn't going to have health issues like that. Same goes for dogs.
