@Remittancegirl Like you, I believe that there is a difference between diplomacy/public statements - and realpolitik. We now know that one shouldn't openly irritate a narcissist, they have to subtly boot his ideas out. Many responsables in the EU are actually working on becoming more independent, but this is not being publicised on social media.
Unfortunately, this time it will be more difficult. The narcissist is only a puppet on a string of some right-wing billionaires.
