@thefinn @Zergling_man @Eiswald My larger points is we don't have to be complete dicks to other people just because of their blood. I'm mostly through Genesis right now, and despite the Canaanites being a bad people not to be mixed with, Abraham and his descendants got along with them cordially until they had to fight (like after Jacob's daughter was raped). We'd probably have similar ambivalence towards the more hostile minorities we deal with today if we were allowed to use proportionate response.
