We have to be classical prescriptivists for definitions though, because "racism" can't be some nebulous concept like the Jews and their golems use today, lest we be unable to make a case for it against it. Preference for one's own kin is the default assumption, as the story of The Good Samaritan shows, given the likelihood of extended family mostly living in one area or surrounding houses in a village.
