Jon Moore@mekkaokereke I learned about Cincinnatus as a result of this toot. I like the quote from the Wikipedia page that “his immediate resignation of near-absolute authority at the end of the crisis …has often been cited as a model of selfless leadership, civic virtue, and service to the greater good”. But dude was 71! He just wanted to go back to being quietly retired on his farm!
