all very cool, and no reason a platform can't support multiple protocols ( hubzilla, friendica and streams do even tho they get far less funding / commits )

diaspora is still around too, it has more of a facebook vibe to it in terms of both the interface and culture, it's quite comfy, i resent having to sign into a completely different account to even interact with diaspora friends

that all these foss people are falling over themselves to accommodate a corporationj like bluesky but after all these years never even bothered with diaspora is infuriating
