@katharsisdrill shortly after NGI Taler started, the banks jumped up with something different that got all the publicity.

Technically excellent solutions that align their requirements to societies need seem to always have an uphill battle.

(that said: NGI Taler is actually supported by the EU, so while it’s an uphill battle in some areas, in others it’s possible to get support that might provide the push so we get really good solutions)
