    We could just about bike the 4 miles to Paramus Park or the much closer Garden State Plaza, but PP had the better bookstore (Waldenbooks) and record store (Harmony Hut). Plus, unlike GSP, it was all indoors.

    Thankfully, there were always parents or older sublings happy to drop us off and pick us up if only to get us out of their hair.
