mischievoustomato@adiz young people don't buy thinkpads because of the presence of those things but because they probably don't know or thinkpads are too expensive for them. I think a redesign could help (while keeping the black+red aesthetic and the other things that make the thinkpads be, well, thinkpads), and focus on good hw support so they can rival macbooks in terms of aesthetics, feel and performance/battery life.
