LucyGi feel like some of this is actually kind of accidental. like, the terrible people doing terrible things just *happen* to have stumbled on a combination that works this well and they don't need to understand *how* it works to just keep doing it. i don't deny in the slightest they're doing it, i just don't think they're smart enough to have done it ALL on purpose
