casey is remote@gnu2 I'd suspect this is a bid from the #PalestinianAuthority to get some favor with #Trump. #Trump's foreign policy seems to be "peace at any cost", which in some cases can mean abruptly accelerating or ending wars so that they end quickly and are over with. It wouldn't entirely shock me if he ends up asking #Israel to take over #Gaza before too long if the #Hamas terrorists continue to hold onto their hostages.
