Pinephone is the only thing going, and it sucks balls. Under powered with shit battery life. And every dev wants the wm to look like a android.

I'd take a small pc with a phone modem too. In fact, I'd prefer a desktop with a phone app to a phone type gui. I just bought an 8" laptop with an n100 and ddr5. It runs linux no problem. Though a modem in one of those and I'm game.
