There's also some shards of hope in the news.
The deportation plans are MASSIVELY expensive and will take MASSIVE MASSIVE manpower. It likely won't get done in 4 years, let alone 2.
They're also all incompetent as fuck.
Many republicans still want to please their doners, who recognize tarrifs and deportation will fuck up profits.
All of these will slow things down. The slower it goes, the more time for smarter, less evil people to come in at mids.
