@sickburnbro I recently picked up up a 2012 TDI, I'm expecting to start a family in the next few years once we have a down payment saved up on a house. to replace my 82 VW Rabbit diesel. as frankly my love doesn't exactly enjoy riding in it (no AC, functionally 1 seatbelt in the front as idgaf ATM to weld a new belt clip on my driver's seat, it'll just be my racecar one day a a VR6, 2.5l 5cyl or a 24v 1.8t. I digress) and after deleting the emissions equipment I was pleasantly surprised at how little electronics are inside of it compared to other modern vehicles I've had to work on. Id drive that motherfucker of a cliff if I had to deal with this shit. CAN-BUS isn't inherently bad from my experience. but bad wiring is the no.1 cause. it's insane
