And I think, obviously, white people are going to have to use our privilege to try and protect black people, and to draw attention to instances of racism when we see it, just as straight and cisgender people need to work to draw attention to clear phobia, and how both men and women need to openly acknowledge sexism. We aren't going to get out of this mess by hiding and pretending that we are the only ones having problems.

But a better future is on the horizon, as it has always been. Our enemies are surprisingly few, their ideologies all but dead, and with hard work, we will inevitably prevail.
