@PodunkPotato @doctorsex I understand the fear of "oh god, I can't get the next Van Braun" but the simple answer for this is what Steve Sailer and others have suggested.

The advantage of taking this tack is that it avoid a lot of hurt feeling and traps. Just say "h1b is unfortunately irreversibly compromised, so we are going to 'close the loopholes' ( this is a political favorite ) and start fresh"
