The same entity controls the currency of almost every nation, and our leaders are incentivised to set policies that benefit the wealthy at the expense of everyone else. There is no way to break this self-reinforcing system without radical reform on a global scale. This is why the majority of people are losing purchasing power despite innovation and automation.
