I was kinda big into Rudolph Steiner for a bit.

The idea behind Steiner's philosophy was that you don't really have an angel on your shoulder and a devil on your other shoulder; you're foolish yourself if you do.

Everybody has two devils on their shoulders; a red devil (rage, emotion, impulsiveness) and a blue devil (dispassion, avarice, sociopathy).

He also talks about like, the seven bodies a person has, each controlled by the karma of the higher one. The Solid body is sustained by the breath and water body - the air within is actually mixed with the air around it

mind and spirit and such are "bodies" above and around the physical bodies
