I have to use selective muting on some days—if there's an account I enjoy but missing a day wouldn't hurt, and I have a huge timeline to scroll through, I use "mute for 6 hours" to clear out the posts from that account. It helps a lot. Very occasionally, I have to be really brutal and do that to quite a few accounts.
