@FreeinTX @SpurgAnon @matty if we wanted to verify someone was adult, just do what all the "give app X access to these parts of your personal information" does - just have a service from the state when you provide an email address to link your driver's license. A company which wants to verify, sends an encrypted request to the state for an email address. If it matches, it sends a request to that email and says "hey, I got this request for an account to verify you are over 18" - you can either make it so the email contains everything you need to put into the website to verify.
