They really are just getting too much screentime. Their 24/7 exposure to utopian ideas and notions of impossibility cause them great grief as they struggle to obtain (fail to obtain) these ideas in any real sense. They spend their whole lives chasing impossible things and as a result become frustrated because the things they are learning from this exposure are just not possible. You are the way you are born. There are differences between the races. The terms they've heard and repeat on a rapid-fire basis were made and popularized in the last twenty years. Equality isn't real. They struggle against these things.
