     They really are just getting too much screentime. Their 24/7 exposure to utopian ideas and notions of impossibility cause them great grief as they struggle to obtain (fail to obtain) these ideas in any real sense. They spend their whole lives chasing impossible things and as a result become frustrated because the things they are learning from this exposure are just not possible. You are the way you are born. There are differences between the races. The terms they've heard and repeat on a rapid-fire basis were made and popularized in the last twenty years. Equality isn't real. They struggle against these things.

     @Owl I hope you're right. It would be nice to think they're less exposed to things that would turn them into mass shooters like this but if they're not getting diddled at school or whatever then I can only assume they're getting too much screentime.
     
     I'm betting my money on the former when it comes to this case. There's a lot more to Wisconsin then just cheese, beer, and brats, unfortunately.

     @Owl Troon or not, I'm personally carrying the idea that this is all the result of the shooters age group being worse off than older people. I hate to say it but when I look at most teenage zoomers I see a lot more pain, miserable and trauma than I saw in my own generation. It's a thing that opens kids up to the kind of nonsense we talk about here.
     
     I can seriously believe it when a zoomer says "I'm dead inside". Just one look in their eyes is all the proof I need.

     They have nothing to be traumatized about though, the majority of them choose to be the way that they are.

     A few years back I went to my old university town. There were a bunch of places we knew about to hike, that didn't have big parking lots or signs; that were still kinda special and filled with wildlife. Most were officially parks, but even those have gotten more "parkified" with more signed about where and where not to go, and larger parking lots. They're all overcrowded today. Everything has been tamed:

     well what else are kids these days supposed to do? society has dismantled, paywalled, and gatekept nearly everything else, and literally everything else during the chinese cringe aids.
     a 13 year old can barely walk to the park or a friend's house without some karen calling the cops over OMG UNSUPERVISED CHILD. want to get some fresh air and go for a nice hike in the state park? that's great, i hope you bought your park entry permit online.
     public places either don't exist, are ruined by infinity scholars and joggers, or patrolled by infinity piggu and private security to turn away unaccompanied minors and anyone just hanging out rather than paying money to consoom product and then leaving. malls are dead and gone, the new shopping center is 3 exits down the interstate, and most teens don't even bother getting a driver's license cause they know damn well they can't afford a car or infinity dollars a month in insurance. the parents are broke too and can't help.
     inflation is out of control and there's fewer and fewer ways for kids to make money. good luck mowing lawns, raking leaves, or shoveling snow, that's all the job of the illegals hired by landscaping contractors. deliver the newspaper to the one 97 year old man who still reads it? fat chance. set up a lemonade stand? don't worry the health inspector will be along shortly with a gaggle of pigs to shut them down and write tickets for not having a food distribution permit or a business loicense.
     an endless horde of lawyers and bureaucrats have closed just about everything else off to kids and teens, anywhere they might want to go to do stuff has a policy of no unaccompanied minors because liability.
     
     it's bad times to be a teen or a kid.
