@hmm_cook how though? This is my number one biggest issue; all the sensory overwhelm. How do I mitigate that? Already tried: ear plugs (over ear headphones don't work; they hurt me too much), sunglasses, staying at home. Is there anything else? If so, what? I'd love to go to a Christmas market or, hell, even just hang out with family on Christmas, but I can't, because it's just too much (sensory as well as emotional and just focusing/brain capacity with too many people around).
