It’s different in each part of the diaspora. But there are similarities. </p><p>My breakfast Hokkien prawn noodles are similar to this one: <a href="https://rasamalaysia.com/recipe-penang-hokkien-mee-prawn-noodle/" rel="nofollow noreferrer">https://rasamalaysia.com/recipe-penang-hokkien-mee-prawn-noodle/</a></p><p>A slow cooked soup with a ton of shrimp heads and pork ribs. You can’t get this in a Malaysian restaurant abroad, they don’t have the economies of scale. </p><p>I would buy this for US$3 from any shop back home. </p><p>The dry one is tossed with pork and shrimp and chilli powder.
