AnarchoNinaWritesHearing Smith take a stand against capitalist culture and consumerism was always guaranteed to pique my interest, but I also think The Hungry Ghost is one of the more fleshed out, better produced track on 4:13 Dream. There's hints of Wish-era guitar, and the driving pace of Smith's vocals make for a classic Cure single that somehow wasn't a single. The song also continues the long and mutual love affair between The Cure and Ride, borrowing from the latter's Vapour Trail
