AnarchoNinaWritesSpeaking of non-traditional vocal delivery, Sirensong is a dreamy little treasure that borrows from The Cure's past without sounding quite like anything else they've released. I'm absolutely in love with the slide guitar work and the background shatter-stop effect on Smith's voice, while the strumming acoustic guitar and bouncing keyboards are at least reminiscent of certain The Head on the Door era Cure tracks. The ending is a bit abrupt but otherwise it's a winner.
