@druid it'll be interesting to see what happens now that people are starting to leave even holo for an indie career. dooby is incredibly successful already and I assume picrelated will follow a similar path next year. gura is probably going too. these companies are gonna have to adjust if they want to be anything but stepping stones in the future, if they want to retain real talent they're gonna have to relax their attitude. as you mentioned locking up the assets is dumb and that's probably one thing that could change.
