I can agree gun control laws aren't the ideal solution to stop shootings. But gun control laws do work and we should keep them in place until we fix every other problem.

If you want to get rid of gun control laws you first have to get rid most reasons why shootings happen. Like you have to make sure that all of your citizens are above the poverty line and people with mental illness actually get the help they need.

Really you just have to make your country awesome in a way that nobody has any reason to commit crime. After all that is taken of maybe we can talk about removing gun control.
