tadpole slurper@pave_the_earth Most problems with decks come down to belts, don't they? My main deck is a Tascam 133 which kicks ass but the belts are going and I am dreading the replacement. On tapes that spin freely it works fine, but it seems that it gives up and stops more and more often with sub-par condition cassettes. I skimmed through a youtube video and it seems like belt replacement will require a total disassembly of the machine and I am really scared of breaking it
