I love how the climax of the film involves something as simple as a 3-year-old trying to deliver a home-grown ear of corn to her mom at the hospital because she was sure it would make her mom healthy again, and the conflict is resolved with the magical creatures that the kids had met earlier in the film. You really don’t see many fantasy films like this.
