I'll give it a look, but my bias is I don't think it really does. I don't think the outputs from these tools really approaches anything remotely like human cognition. It's a lot of bullshit and wrong answers, because it's trained to generate things we can recognize. It is a really interesting emergent property: how something that strings tokens together appears to do it well enough it feels like communication. But I think the human nervous system is insanely more complex.

...then again ... a good 1/4 to 1/3 of humanity probably isn't very complex. A lot of people can't even understand ratios ... maybe you're right because people aren't as sentient as we think we are :agummythink:
