@bojacobs «Nuclear's capacity factor remains unaltered at 53-89 per cent» for Australia. Wow, it makes sense but I didn't realise it would be so bad. It's hard to export surplus when you're an island. People like to point out how much electricity #France exports thanks to #nuclear, but the flip side is that the neighbouring countries are implicitly subsidising an industry which otherwise would be unable to use some 20 % of its capacity.
