Yukari 丼Peerless☑️Today I had the privilege of interviewing Lekwungen elder for a project. Such a lovely person. She told me when she was a child they'd heat/dry harvested clams on a stick, then when they are dry they'd thread cedar strings through the clams and pack them flat on a tin suitcase to preserve them. I love hearing stories like that. #indigenous
