@ali If it helps, the way I think about this is: The harms of "AI" is largely in the narrative not the tech. So trying to define it in a technically-rigorous lens is a fool's errand, risking conflating different issues.

Yes, I do have an issue with the amount of exploitation which goes into making modern models, but without the narrative Big Tech would not have gotten away with that!
