Yeah I know Spotify is shit when it comes to paying artists for their work.
I've tried other streaming services that pay artists better (although I'm not aware of any that pay artists an amount that I'd consider fair).
So far, I haven't found a streaming service other than Spotify that actually has most of the artists I want to listen to.
I also like the algorithms on Spotify that keep bringing new artists to my attention, that I wouldn't otherwise have heard of.
At this point, I've given up on finding an alternative music streaming service.
Instead I support my favourite artists in other ways.
But that means my money's only going to a handful of favourites, instead of being spread fairly among the many many artists that I actually listen to.
I'm never going to find time and money to support 300 individual artists through Bandcamp or similar.
It sucks.
Please someone establish a genuine competitor to Spotify that comes at least somewhat close to providing similar features and benefits *and* pays artists fairly.
I would be willing to pay considerably more for something like that.
