I've always wondered, on a planet with a sentient egg laying species, would there ever be an abortion debate? You could literally just flush your eggs. Would eating your own species eggs be considered cannibalism? a weird fetish? taboo? normal?

Similar questions about a planet of sentient flying beings. Would there be laws against drunk flying? Suicide would be as simple as dropping out of the sky and not expanding your wings.
