1. "Here's my presentation"
2. "Do what I say and don't ask questions"
3. "I don't like this" - at which point he stops talking and stares uncomfortably, or walks away

When pressed, he says, "It's all very technical, you wouldn't be interested / able to keep up." Smart guys then take him up on this, so he defers to #3

My theory? He knows that he is an imposter and is full of self-loathing
