all instances will be required to perform some sort of age verification or face tens of millions in fines. From RT: "Platforms that do not take “reasonable steps” to bar people under 16 would face fines of up to $50 million ($32.5 million USD). The new law will fully take effect in 12 months.

anyone under 16 in australia will not be able to legally publish content on peertube (fwiw, #odysee #bitchute, #gab, #minds, #substack are all cloudflare, which is itself a mass surveillance system setup by ex-nsa folk circa 2009). (EDIT: Under-16s) MAY be able to only view content like posts and videos but without an account many (edit: big tech) services dont allow viewing content, and by law teens will not be able to have an account.
