Improvised a #Quince #Pie yesterday, thanks to the neighbors leaving out a couple boxes of quince with a free sign on them!
Crust was almond and buckwheat, with lots of flax seeds so #GlutenFree and used olive oil and coconut for lipids, so #Vegan for good measure.
Love baking in #CastIron pans!
A very hardy crisp crust, might try making some crackers using a similar technique sometime...
