Also... the whole MRA thing peaked in the 2010s or so, woke millenials were the dominant group in colleges and witchunts were a real thing. I remember being in college back then and being handed leaflets telling me not to rape women. At the time I assumed it was a joke since what kind of rapist would pay attention to a leaflet, but no, they were serious.

Since then there's been a cultural shift. Zoomers are much less anti-male than their predecessors (at least from what I've seen) so campuses are less hostile.

If this guy had been around ~15 years earlier he might not have had the same results.
