AnarchoNinaWritesNaw, don't assume I'm being too hard on Monbiot. I don't hate him, and I understand what he's doing because to some degree I do the same thing. We live in a fascist police state where reactionary violence is ignored but exercising your civil rights from the left is literally terrorism. So Monbiot is laying out the facts and hoping you'll draw the obvious conclusions from them. I do the same thing, I'm just getting way more impatient than he is and I don't have a Guardian column to lose.
