A lot of you seem to approach this from "even if the Malthusians were right, they're going about it all wrong" and literally, the Malthusians are not right. The unspoken line in their propaganda is always "if we keep capitalism" and we absolutely cannot and should not do that. When they say "too many people' they mean killing billions of non-white, non-western, non-imperial core people so "we can keep doing capitalism."

They are not right, or sincere, so who cares if their "solutions" suck too?
