Since the birchers were kicked out with the help of buckley, the party has pretty explicitly been about keeping people farther right out of power in the party.
But these are not principled people, and they have a lot of organization and power at their disposal. Everyone here knows that the US most forces 2 parties due to the electoral structure. In order for a new party to form there would have to be something the current party was unable to assimilate, but popular enough to cause a fracture where a new party could gain a ton of following as well as money ( in leui of having immediate power )
