@mimsical @Lazarou Very likely it's a marketing thing: "Autopilot" isn't, it's just spicy cruise control—but due to widespread public misconceptions about what aicraft autopilots are and do, Tesla purchasers thinks it can actually drive the car autonomously in traffic? So they take idiotic risks. (That, and Teslas are stupidly overpowered and accelerate fast—I learned to drive circa 1980 and the performance of an entry level Tesla matches the top end supercars back then.)
